Everything published here is general information and personal opinion about walking and the outdoors. It is not professional navigation, safety or medical advice. Conditions change quickly: tides, weather, path surfaces, livestock, closures and daylight can all differ from what an article describes. Walking carries real risks. You are responsible for judging your own fitness and experience, carrying suitable equipment, checking forecasts and local notices, and deciding whether a route is right for you on the day. Gear comments are opinions and not guarantees, and you should follow the manufacturer’s instructions for any product.

The words, design and original images on this site are owned by the operator or used with permission. Readers are welcome to quote a brief passage with a visible credit, and to pass on a link to any page.
